The 600kg allowance is designed for typical household clean-ups and bulky general waste. Bulky doesn't always mean heavy — a couch can take up loads of space without weighing much, while dense material takes up far less room but gets heavy very quickly.

Your hire is a fixed 2 days — a genuine 48 hours from the time we deliver — which is plenty for most jobs. We take care of collection after that, and there's no charge if we happen to pick it up a little later. If you think your job needs longer, get in touch before you book and we'll help you plan it.
Great for general household waste, furniture, garden and green waste, and light renovation material. Not allowed: asbestos, liquids and paint, gas bottles, aerosols, batteries, tyres, mattresses, and food, medical or other hazardous waste. Not sure? Just ask us before you book.
You pay online by card when you book — it's quick, secure and your booking is confirmed straight away. The only thing that may be charged afterwards is an overweight fee, if the load goes over the 600 kg limit; that's billed to the same card once we collect and weigh the bin (see our terms).
Straight away. As soon as you book, you'll receive an email and SMS confirming your bin size, delivery date and address.
No, you don't need a council permit.
No. Because our mobile skips stay on their trailer, the weight is spread across the wheels rather than sitting directly on your surface — so no cracked concrete or stained pavers like a traditional dropped skip can cause.
The skip includes up to 600 kg. Any additional weight will incur an extra charge.
